The concept for this site was to create a basic universally usable anti-design that is more based on honest web standard programming than on aesthetics. I came to the conclusion that the most attractive and most sustainable solution is to have a site that uses its text, image and video content to fill any format of screen ranging from iPhone to 27" LED Cinema Display.
The whole system is dynamic and adjusts to changing screen size or window size to deliver a different graphic layout everytime and always making full use of the space provided. The user has the unique opportunity to arrange the site content themselves by simply changing the window size.
The backbone is the publication system which enables quick updating and editing of the site from any browser.
I publish several types of content that are all identified by simple tags next to their heading. Projects have no tags at the moment.
Navigation happens through the fixed links at the top, M Ch is about me, index is the overview of all content and on the right is the czech / english option. Every single piece of text is available in both languages. You can use the left / right keys to switch between projects.
On iOS devices the web loads well only in portrait orientation. Its a problem we are figuring out. We are working on swipe project switching for iOS and once the amount of published work gets bigger we will include a tag based filtering system on index page. — M Ch
