Barstool 02.1 —

Every year the VIA foundation organizes a charity auction to raise money for all sorts of causes. Together with LUGI we decided to contribute with a one-off edition of Barstool 02.

Since most of this year's auction is about special wines I took that as an inspiration to design a true wine drinker's barstool. The ash wood is treated with black wax to create a warm earthy tone and one leg is painted in red. Its an abstract intersection of the earth and the magic liquid that grows out of it. – M Ch

The auction took place on 14th November 2011 at 6pm in the Prague Marriott hotel and Barstool 02.1 auctioned for more than twice the starting price. We are very pleased about that.
